Barn Raised LLC is a true labor of love, built on years of dedication, hard work, and family commitment. What started as a vision has grown into a thriving farm and business, backed by countless hours of care and a passion for preserving proven working lines.
We specialize in breeding and training Australian Shepherds from old working lines, striving to produce exceptional partners who are both intelligent workers and loyal companions. Alongside our dogs, we maintain a small flock of Dorpers dedicated solely to preserving and developing the working instinct of our Australian Shepherds.
Every puppy receives the best care, early socialization, and a foundation for a healthy, well-adjusted life. We prioritize sound temperament, structure, and long-term quality—offering not only outstanding animals but also a lasting commitment to their well-being and the families they join.
Through high-quality photography and videos, our website showcases the unique charm and working ability of our Aussies and their sheep training partners. By staying true to proven old working lines while utilizing thoughtful, modern breeding practices, we empower our families to experience the joy of owning a highly capable, loyal, and purpose-driven Australian Shepherd. Our dogs are bred not only for authentic instinct and grit on stock, but for the clarity and temperament that allows them to have a true “on/off switch” — confident and driven when there’s work to do, yet settled and devoted inside the home. Kelsey Merimon
Kelsey oversees and organizes all
breeding plans for the Aussies, while
researching and developing Barn Raised Breeding
Lines. She manages the vaccination and medical
care for all the animals on 3KC Farm and handles
the business operations, including marketing,
research, development, and sales. Kelsey is also in
charge of all social media accounts and the Barn
Raised website.

Kyna Fisher - AKA Gammy
Gammy oversees the
daily operations of the farm when everyone else is away. She manages the whelping process
and ensures the health and well-being of our Dams. Her role is key in the development and
socialization of our puppies, helping them adapt to various stimuli.
Handyman. Shepherd. Aussie Trainer. Fixer of All
Things.
Cameron Merimon
Cam takes care of all plumbing, HVAC,
and vehicle repairs on the property, in addition to
watering, planting, and maintaining the pastures.
He oversees the daily feeding and rotational
grazing for the Sheep Flock and Horse Trio. Cam
is also responsible for training all the Aussies on
stock management.
Mr. Fix-It. Assistant to the Property Manager. The Dogs' Favorite.
Chris Fisher - AKA Papa
Papa, our resident builder,
contractor, and former framer, takes care of all structural repairs on the property. He tackles the
Property Manager's Honey-Do list and handles the daily feeding of the chickens and ducks. Plus, he
seems to have the most inviting lap, and the dogs always find their way to him.

Kanon and Krew Merimon - AKA The Boys
The Boys play a key role in successful Puppy Playtime and socialization. They also assist the Assistant to the Property Manager in various tasks. Kanon and Krew are known for spreading fun-loving chaos wherever they go.
